Water Damage – Silver Lake Gaming Arcade

Water damage at this Silver Lake gaming arcade was the result of a malfunctioning sprinkler head in the fire suppressant system. The before photo shows the sprinkler head pouring water down into the arcade. The employees working at the time of the incident did not know how to turn the water to the sprinkler system off. They called the owner, and he called SERVPRO. We dispatched a crew immediately to the site. The first thing we did was locate the shutoff for the sprinkler system. We cleaned up the water as the sprinkler system provider was called to replace the faulty sprinkler head. The after photo shows the air moving equipment and dehumidifiers that were placed in the area to speed up the drying process.
